Dear subscribers, May is Mental Health Awareness Month, an opportunity to remember something simple but important: caring for your mind is just as essential as caring for your body.

At NeuroLift, we work with many individuals who arrive emotionally exhausted after trying treatments that did not provide lasting relief. Our approach often combines two supportive paths, either independently or together depending on each patient’s needs: healthy lifestyle habits and advanced evidence-based medical treatments such as TMS or Spravato® when additional support is needed.

This month, in our “Natural Suggestions from NeuroLift”, we invite you to explore a few simple habits that may help support emotional well-being:

  • ☀️ Get sunlight early in the morning: Opening your curtains or taking a short walk after waking up may help regulate your internal clock, supporting mood and daily energy.
  • 🌲 Spend quiet time outdoors: A slow walk through a park or natural environment can help reduce cortisol levels and promote mental clarity and calmness.
  • 📓 Write down your thoughts: Journaling emotions and worries may help reduce intrusive thoughts and improve emotional awareness.
