Our Services in Tampa

At our Tampa location, patients have access to advanced psychiatric services designed to provide effective, personalized treatment for depression and other mood disorders.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) with Apollo:

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) with the Apollo system is a cutting-edge, non-invasive, and FDA-approved treatment that uses advanced magnetic technology to stimulate specific areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. Unlike medications, which affect the entire body and may cause unwanted side effects, TMS delivers targeted stimulation directly to the regions associated with depression and related conditions.

The Apollo TMS system represents the latest generation of neuromodulation technology, offering enhanced precision, improved patient comfort, and highly efficient treatment delivery. This therapy is especially effective for individuals who have not achieved adequate relief from traditional antidepressants or who prefer a non-pharmacological approach to mental health care.

Treatments are performed while patients remain fully awake and alert, require no anesthesia, and involve little to no downtime. This makes Apollo TMS a safe, well-tolerated, and highly effective solution for improving mental health, restoring emotional balance, and enhancing overall quality of life.

September News & Wellness Updates

Dear subscribers,

This September, we’re pleased to welcome two new members to our team. We’re also making room for a conversation about suicide prevention, recovery and asking for help. We hope this month’s updates help you feel more connected to our team and the care available to you.

Welcoming Two New Team Members
Aundrea Merchant, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, joining our Spring Hill team

We’re happy to welcome Aundrea Merchant, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, to our Spring Hill team. A dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, she brings more than 24 years of combined nursing experience.

Her background in behavioral health, primary care and chronic disease management informs a whole-person approach. Her psychiatric experience includes evaluations, medication management, supportive psychotherapy and individualized treatment planning.

Yoelis Folgoso, Medical Assistant at NeuroLift

We’re glad to welcome Yoelis Folgoso as a Medical Assistant. Working closely with our clinical providers, Yoelis supports Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato® and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy services. With a patient-centered approach, Yoelis helps patients feel informed, comfortable and supported throughout their visits.

Wellness Means Asking for Help

September is National Suicide Prevention Month and Recovery Month. Both remind us how much it matters to listen without judgment and help people connect with support. Recovery can look different for each person, and care may need to change along the way.

World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10 continues the 2024–2026 theme, “Changing the Narrative on Suicide.” A conversation can begin with a simple question: “How have you really been feeling?” Give the person time to answer, listen and help them reach support when needed.

Support is available now.
In the U.S., call or text 988, or chat with the 988 Lifeline for free, confidential support, 24/7. You can reach out for yourself or someone you care about. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
When Should You Talk to Your Primary Care Provider?

Changes in sleep, mood, energy or appetite are worth discussing when they persist or begin affecting daily life. A primary care provider can help explore possible physical contributors and connect you with mental health care when appropriate.

At our Spring Hill location, primary care and psychiatric services are available in the same place, so you can bring questions about your physical and mental well-being to our team.

You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to ask for help.

The Gratitude Pause

Take a moment to write down something you appreciated today. It might be a thoughtful message or a few quiet minutes outside. Keep it specific, and leave room for whatever else you’re feeling. If gratitude feels difficult right now, simply notice what helped you get through the day.

When Additional Support Is Needed

When symptoms persist, a clinical evaluation can help clarify what is happening and which options fit your needs. Depending on your assessment, care may include:

  • TMS Therapy: non-invasive magnetic stimulation used to treat depression, often when other treatments have not helped enough.
  • Spravato® (esketamine): a prescription nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression, administered in a healthcare setting with required supervision and monitoring.
  • Medication Management: ongoing review of your symptoms, treatment response and side effects, with adjustments based on your needs.
